Cloud provider Vultr said on 22 October 2026 it will build a 20 MW AI supercluster in Chennai on AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, which it calls India's largest AMD Instinct deployment.

AMD's Lisa Su unveiled Helion, a CPU-centred rack with up to 32,768 EPYC cores for AI agents, at the OCP Global Summit on 12 October 2026.
