UP AI Mission

Uttar Pradesh's cabinet approved the UP AI Mission on October 9, 2026 to train five lakh youth in AI, support 100 AI start-ups and set up AI centres in all 75 districts.

Indian AI startup funding reached $438 million in July–September 2026, making AI the top-funded sector for the first time, even as overall startup funding grew only modestly.
