Agniveer rally in Hyderabad from November 13: Telangana's 33 districts, four categories

The Indian Army will hold an Agniveer recruitment rally for young people from all 33 districts of Telangana at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, from Friday, 13 November to Tuesday, 24 November 2026, according to reports of the Army's announcement. The 12-day rally will screen candidates who have already received admit cards for four categories: Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Tradesman (10th pass) and Agniveer Tradesman (8th pass). Candidates must bring all the original documents listed in the recruitment notification. The Army Recruiting Office in Secunderabad has asked applicants to rely only on the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, and to call 040-27740059 with questions.

For many young people in Telangana's towns and villages, a recruitment rally is the single most important day in their search for a stable government job. The rally is where candidates who already hold admit cards go through the next stage of screening and have their original documents checked. Missing the date, or arriving without the right papers, can mean losing the chance for the whole recruitment year.

The categories also show that the Army is recruiting across education levels. Agniveer General Duty and Technical posts draw students who have finished school, while the Tradesman categories are open to those who passed Class 8 or Class 10, giving young people with less formal education a route into the forces.

The Army's warning about touts matters as much as the dates. The Army has said agents have no role in recruitment, and that candidates should trust only the official website and the recruiting office.

Peepals calculation: The rally runs from 13 November to 24 November, which is 12 days counting both ends (24 − 13 + 1 = 12). With candidates from 33 districts to be screened in that window, the Army will on average be handling the candidates of nearly three districts a day (33 ÷ 12 ≈ 2.75), though actual schedules are set by category and district in the admit cards. Our calculation from the reported figures.

Short-term: Candidates with admit cards should check their reporting date and category, gather original documents and prepare for the screening. Families of candidates travelling from distant districts will need to plan travel and stay in Hyderabad.

Long-term: Those selected join the Army as Agniveers, gaining training, a salary and service experience. For Telangana, a large rally in Hyderabad keeps the path into the armed forces open to youth from every district.

Who is affected: Young people across Telangana who hold rally admit cards; their families; schools and coaching centres that prepare candidates; and local authorities supporting the event at Gachibowli.

What to watch next: The rally itself from 13 November, and updates and results posted on joinindianarmy.nic.in.
