Riot revealed Hush, Valorant's 31st agent and a Duelist, on 18 October 2026; she launches in India on 28 October and unlocks for 200,000 XP or 1,000 VP.
What Happened
Riot Games has revealed Hush, a new Duelist from Guangdong, China, as the 31st agent in its tactical shooter Valorant. The reveal came on Sunday, 18 October 2026, during the grand final of Valorant Champions 2026 in Shanghai. Hush arrives with the game's Season 2026 Act 6 on Tuesday, 27 October in North America, Latin America and Brazil, and on Wednesday, 28 October in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Korea and all other regions, which includes India, according to release details reported by gaming outlets.
Key Facts
- New agent: Hush, Agent 31, a Duelist (the attacking role whose job is to take fights and create space for the team).

- Reveal: 18 October 2026, at the Valorant Champions 2026 grand final in Shanghai.
- Release: 27 October in North America, Latin America and Brazil; 28 October in Europe, Asia-Pacific (including India), Korea and other regions, with Season 2026 Act 6.
- How to unlock: by earning 200,000 XP during the Agent Recruitment Event, or immediately by paying 1,000 Valorant Points (VP), the game's paid currency.

Why It Matters
Valorant is a popular competitive game among young players, including in India, where college teams and amateur and professional clubs take part in tournaments. A new agent changes how the game is played: teams rethink their line-ups, players learn new counters, and tournament strategies shift. Duelists in particular sit at the centre of attacking play, so a new one tends to draw a lot of attention.
Revealing Hush at the Champions final in Shanghai, the biggest event of the Valorant esports year, was also a statement about the game's audience in Asia. Hush is from Guangdong, and launching her character at a final held in China tied the new agent closely to the event's home crowd.
For players in India, the practical points are timing and cost. Hush arrives on 28 October in the Asia-Pacific region, a day after the Americas. Players can unlock her for free by earning XP through the recruitment event, or pay 1,000 VP to get her instantly. Young players should be aware that VP is bought with real money, and that free unlock routes are usually available for patient players. Being careful with in-game spending, and buying VP only through official channels, helps protect both money and accounts from scams.

Long-term: Depending on how strong her abilities prove, Hush may become part of professional team line-ups in the 2027 season, or be adjusted by Riot through balance updates.
Who is affected: Valorant players in India and worldwide, esports teams and coaches, streamers and content creators, and parents of young players who manage in-game spending.
What players should do next: wait for Riot's official patch notes for confirmed abilities, plan to unlock Hush through the free XP route if you do not want to spend money, and avoid unofficial sites offering cheap Valorant Points.
